Everyone wants a 'Munni' or a 'Sheila': Malaika
At the recently conducted public poll to vote for the 'Sensation of the Year' award organised by a TV channel, Malaika Arora Khan raced past Katrina Kaif to win the trophy for her sizzling performance in Munni Badnaam... in last year's blockbuster Dabangg.
Notorious for usually keeping the media waiting, Malaika remained true to her image as she emerged straight out of a photoshoot after almost an hour and half post the scheduled time of this interview.
Malaika echoes what is on the minds of a lot of film enthusiasts these days. "Everyone wants a Munni or a Sheila these days. There is bound to be a comparison between the two and it is a wonderful feeling to win. I have created a benchmark and everyone wants to meet that. It is the greatest compliment," Malaika says.
Being a part of a National Award winning film like Dabangg and having her husband all set to direct its sequel is reason enough for Malaika to sport that perpetual smile on her face. But she admits, that working on the sequel will also bring in a lot of pressure on the Khan family. She points out, "Yes, there will be pressure. It will be a big challenge. But we will aim for higher. Arbaaz is directing the sequel. He has always wanted to direct films. It will be his maiden directorial venture and yes, we all are very excited."
Without making even a faint reference to Katrina (who happens to be bro-in-law Salman's ex), she says she is glad her Munni beat Sheila hands down, this time. "In a year, there are so many award functions. Sometimes Munni has won, and sometimes Sheila...But I am happy, this time around, it is I who won," quips Malaika with a smile that dazzles all around her.

Ranbir: Katrina has no dressing sense
When a question was asked to Ranbir involving Katrina Kaif, Ranbir made fun of the actress by saying that she had no dressing sense. This comes after there are reports that the two are headed for a patch-up.
RANBIR KAPOOR and KATRINA KAIF
Ranbir also spoke at length about his issues with Deepika and Sonam and how he felt when they chose to make fun of him on Karan Johar's chat show. Ranbir said, "I felt bad when Deepika made those comments about me on KJo's show. If she had issues with me, she could have picked the phone and called me instead of choosing a public platform to do so."
Another highlight of the show was Neetu Singh's comment that Ranbir is not a casanova as is made in the media but a gullible emotional, soft-spoken guy.

According to sources, the makers of the film initially wanted a more established face to play Mandakini, names as big as Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were in the race. However, now even Sonakshi is being considered for the role. It seems the decision makers are considering the fact that Akshay and Sonakshi are already working together on two more projects and reportedly share a good rapport with each other.
However, nothing has been finalized yet. Even though Akshhay is sure to play the lead role, the hunt is still on for the second lead. As soon as that is finalized, Ekta and Milan will make a final decision on the leading lady of the film. Let us see if Sonakshi gets to share screen space with Khiladi Kumar.

Sonakshi is Dawood's love interest
Looks like the sequel of Ekta Kapoor’s production ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ will see a complete new set of stars then what it had in original. After Akshay Kumar took over the Emraan Hashmi’s character of Dawood in the sequel, it’s time for Sonakshi Sinha to play Mandakani, Dawood’s love interest in the film.
While it was assumed that the role would either be played by Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor or Deepika Padukone opposite Akki in the Milan Luthria’s film.
Confirming the news, a source said that both Ekta and Milan were keen to cast a leading lady to essay the role of Mandakani. But for now, they are considering Sonakshi Sinha for the role.
The fact that Akshay and Sonakshi are already working in two films together seems to have been working in the newbie’s favour. The duo will be seen together in Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Rowdy Rathod’. So, Ekta and Milan are also considering this fact while making their choice.
Though, apart from Akshay playing a role in the film, nothing has been confirmed yet. The team is still looking for a parallel hero to play the role opposite Akshay. So, once the male actors cast get finalized, Ekta and Milan wil take a call on who will play the leading ladies.
As for now, we have to wait to find out whether Sonakshi turns out to be Dawood’ lady love in the film.
