Hrithik-Katrina's three minutes long kiss

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is in dilemma yet again. Reason, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s three-minute long kiss in her next directorial venture ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ seems too hot to be seen on-screen.

A few weeks back, Zoya had to tone down the chemistry between the lead pair Hrithik and Katrina, in the song ‘Ek Junoon’. It was because Zoya felt that their chemistry was taking away all the attention from the song, which was basically a group number.

And now, Zoya is facing the same dilemma again, whether to retain or tone down the three-minute intense smooch scene filmed between the duo.

Revealing the nature of the scene, a source elaborates, "After having a heated argument, Arjun (Hrithik’s character) leaves the house in a rush. That’s when Laila (Katrina’s character) chases him on a bike and pulls him out of his car. What follows next is a steamy smooch scene filmed between the two, which is said to be bit longer than the usual, about three minutes long."

The scene is said to be a very crucial part of the film, as it conveys the proxomity that Arjun and Laila share. And, this is the reason why Zoya is finding it hard to decide which part of the kiss to retain and how much to chop-off, reports a source.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Hrithik and Katrina’s kiss has raised an alarm. His kissing scene with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dhoom 2’ and Barbara Mori in ‘Kites’ have also been talk of the town, Katrina’s lip lock with John Abraham in ‘New York’ was also hyped a lot.

Hrithik-Katrina’s hot chemistry leaves the director in a fix

While filmmakers often scrabble to spark a chemistry between the actors, Zoya Akhtar has contrarily been busy toning down the uninhibited passion-play between Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Call it the comfort of two co-stars or taking one’s role a tad too seriously, but Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have shot some scenes so sizzling that the director Zoya Akhtar is in a fix whether to include them in the final print. Reason? The film is a story of bonding between three friends (Hrithik, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol). But Hrithik and Katrina’s no-holds-barred chemistry might give it a shade of torrid romance.

Zoya is in a dilemma over whether to retain a gobsmacking three-minute long kiss between Hrithik and Katrina in the film.

Buzz is that the scene is as hot as it gets. It comes at a point in the plot where Hrithik’s character has a tiff with Katrina’s character and drives away in a car. Katrina follows him on her bike, overtakes him, makes him pull over, forces him out of the car and onto the bonnet, and plants kisses on him, with Hrithik reciprocating with equal passion and intensity.

Zoya feels the scene might be too hot for viewing by family audiences and wants to tone it down. Just recently, she had chopped out a good deal of the chemistry of Hrithik and Katrina in the song ‘Ek Junoon’ because the hot scenes of the duo were not going along with the theme of group song.

Guess Hrithik-Katrina are going to be the toast of ZNMD.
